If you are embarrassed you've hit something stationary, hopefully we can make you feel better by reminding you that you are not alone!  Most everyone bumps into something eventually no matter what they drive.  You would think it would happen less to cars that have back up sensors but they usually just end up being one more thing that gets damaged and needing to be replaced.  Touch up can work wonders...
